In the small ads of a musicians’ magazine I subscribe to this month I read the following:
Gospel music like you’ve never heard it before! Totally FREE full song downloads. www.dalestrand.com
Having listened to it [MP3, 3.3 Mb], I’d say the description is accurate.
My God! (Oops freudian slip!)
It’s like a Cliff Richard/Bert Humperdink chimera….
And the chirrypy flute melodys make me think of chipmunks frollicking in a forest.
I need to be sick…
I will be billing you for the dry cleaning of my ears.
HEY! Thanks for plugging my site. Launched just last March, we’ve reached nearly 30 countries with our fresh, new, original, fully and professionally produced “Gospel Music Like You’ve Never Heard It Before!”
AND, It is indeed, all free. No catches, no gimmicks, no hidden agendas, no hassles.
I’m using full orchestras on some pieces and have 15 more songs to upload in the coming few months. I’m out of the country through October, but will be back in the saddle (studio) the first week of November.
I’m using one of the world’s best producers. He’s directed big bands for Sinatra, Bennett, Sammy Davis and all the greats.
So we encourage your readers to give us a test listen. Even if you’re not “into” Gospel Music — you’ll find some interesting things to appeal to your ears. I’ve even got a couple of other-thana-Gospel songs posted — one for our troops, “You’re A Great American,” and one just for fun — with a Bobby McFerrin, “Don’t Worry, Be Happy” feel, titled, “Sing A Happy Song.” If any of you are old enough to remember Mule Train’s Franky Laine (who also did “Ghost Riders In the Sky,” “Jealousy,” and many other great hits — he was set to record this song of mine — and then he up and died. How’s THAT for irony?
So, take a free listen and download. If you like it, tell your friends. If you hate it, tell your enemies.
There’s also some powerful “one-liner’s” wisdom, advice and insight to life, happiness, and peace of mind that will challenge you, prosper you, and make you say, “Thanks, I needed that!”
“Sing”cerly, and musically yours,
