Thing about making a ‘fro work, though, is that it’s a do that demands the 70’s penchant for tight shirts and flares. It doesn’t really work with the contemporary loose-fit clothing scheme. Not that I’m an authority on the subject, mind.
Hilarious… The Chi-Lites were the world champions of the Afro look, weren’t they? And there was a guy in the 70s version of The Drifters who had a truly bizarre flat-top. The others could have eaten their dinner off it
