Nice that the commentator did his research; it’s often overlooked that he spent time on loan at PNE.

Are you sure it was a free-kick? I know for certain he scored a fantastic goal directly from a corner against Blackpool when playing for PNE, which must have required some serious bend. I’d be surprised if that wasn’t the goal he remembers the most, certainly every PNE fan does.
