My wife and I were going through baby names recently. As you know, our surname is Kynaston Reeves. We got halfway through the Fs before we realised that anything beginning with F was a very bad idea.
And I knew a girl at university called Jeanette Hulls. She was very lucky: she’d made it all the way through school without anyone thinking to drop the H. It was particularly bad in a Yorkshire accent.
I thought that Chris Peacock was just a fantasy joke name until I met him…
