If not for my fear of libel lawyers I’d be tempted to say that half of the politicians in the studio with Dimbleby are already drunk as Lords.
Pardon me if I come off as a little dense, but are you saying that Brown is going to come off as the real winner of the election? I knew that was a possibility going in, but all the news outlets on this side are going off about “Blair’s historic third win”. I’m not sure they’re attuned to the real possibilities.
I have to agree with you there regarding your observations on the demeanor of the politicians in the studio.
A certain bearded former Foreign Secretary appeared a bit well-lit to me when they spoke to him from his constituency, too. But that’s just my impression.
