When does the aforementioned fisking commence?
PooterGeek
Claimed he’d written a clerihew this week
But since the first line didn’t include a name
It was *like* a clerihew but – well, not to be too pedantic or anything, and with all due consideration for the fact that it’s hard to find a rhyme for “Livingstone” (or for “Counsell”, damn it – and “Damian”? Let’s not even go there) – not quite the same.
Alternatively:
The mayor [insert name]
Was quick to proclaim … (etc.)
[Definitions of “clerihew” can be seen at (e.g.):

Who is this “Livingstone” of whom you write?
Oh yes, scrub that, we meant “Whittington”.
