After a lot of boring tweaking PooterGeek should now be looking a little more like it used to, though there’s still a lot of tweaking left to be done. It’s also running on WordPress 2.01. I only changed version because I had to. When I saw Jo Salmon take the plunge I thought wryly, “Ah, the invincible boldness of youth!” and ignored the upgrade, but I knew I’d have to do it some day. Anyway, tell me if anything strange happens to you when you browse or comment here and let me know if there are any features I’ve forgotten to re-install, but please don’t object to the “look” of the site until I’ve finished tinkering.

The first problem is that the bliddy comments are at the top of each post, which means one is obliged to scroll back up the page to leave a comment. Have you been standing on your head lots or sumfink?
The cool people don’t write needlessly lengthy posts about cosmetic changes to their blog and upgrading of software. They just do it. And if people don’t like it – f**k ’em. 😉
I have to admit it’s getting better, it’s getting better all the time…. (the next line does not apply).
During your site’s troubled time your spam filter ate my comment in which I described my mild ‘joy’ that your proper blog had suffered from the same problem that had afflicted my amateur effort. It was good to learn that It Was All Bill Gate’s Fault. Having started my so-called education in the 1950s, I had assumed that It Was All My Fault because in those bleak days everything, if you believed your teachers, was….
You had to change?
Why so?
Am I running a risk using my old version?
Yet again, I am stuck in vicious upgrade cycle, even with free bloody software. Grrrr.
At least my Dyson DC01 is still working…
“Ah, the invincible boldness of youth!”
Thanks. I think. 😀
I have no idea; I just do what they tell me to.
Perhaps the Evil Drug Companies will crack Black Triangle so they can plant subliminal advertising messages in your posts.
Hmm, just done it (from 1.5 to 2.02), easiest upgrade yet. Blog looks exactly the same, which is a blessing since I am quite happy with the theme.
Just for your information, Jo, “invincible boldness” comes from this.
